IvoryCloud supported the NIH Business System (NBS) in developing and rolling out a Project Management Office (PMO) around its centralized financials instance.
IvoryCloud served NBS as the Project Management Subject Matter Experts, developing and deploying Program level best practices, supporting toolsets, change management, and end user trainings. Additionally, we engaged directly with the Federal Project Mangers as Project Management Points of Contact (POC’s) to serve as a real-time resource for using and complying with the new organizational practices.
Our technical resources installed and administered an internal Microsoft Project Server instance to allow for all schedules to be visible online at the Director level. From there, we developed reports and dashboards used by NBS leadership to track and manage projects in real-time, allowing them to respond faster and more effectively to any project need.
Major Successes
Developed/updated/deployed 29 project management processes, 6 supporting tools, and dozens of EPLC-based project deliverables.
Worked with NBS leadership to tailor the EPLC requirements to fit the NBS business, project requirements, and culture.
Directly developed and refined the Project Classification system in use today (Class OM to Class 6) and tailored the EPLC accordingly.
Successfully supported over 25 projects, 150 stage gates, and hundreds of project deliverables .
Implemented, configured, administered, and developed custom reports for the enterprise MS Project Server instance.
Customer Satisfaction surveys show 100% satisfaction with our work.
Training was tweaked to be more focused on what improvements in project performance could be expected.
